Yellow Mango Hostel

I expected to stay two nights and ended up staying four. The rooms are spacious, with private black curtains, and the toilets are clean. WiFi worked perfectly, and coffee and tea were available all day. The women at reception were sweet, always smiling, and really helpful. I'd definitely return if I get the chance.

The boss and staff were so friendly and helpful, even sharing advice on a few nice cafes. We only spent around 170 batt on food and drinks, and they were willing to walk out to the main road to flag down a metered taxi for us. They were almost too kind. We tried to leave a tip, but the boss refused to take it. If I come to BANGKOK again, I'll definitely visit this shop for a drink. So much love 😘😘😘

It's a great, quiet place. There’s a masjid nearby and plenty of halal food, which makes it easy for Muslims. When I go back to Thailand, I'm pretty sure I'll book this hostel again :)

I arrived at 10 pm, which really isn't that late, but there was no receptionist. I borrowed a restaurant worker's phone to call, and nobody came. After waiting a long time, I called again using another restaurant staff member's phone. Only then did they tell me the password to get inside. Terrible experience. I can't recommend this hostel.
