Hoenhao Boutique Ratchada

We meant to stay for just one night, but liked it so much that we extended our stay. The room was spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows, and the area was peaceful. Food and drinks can be ordered to the room, and having a microwave and kettle on-site was really handy. The hosts can be reached on Messenger to reserve one of the limited parking spaces in advance, which is what we did. Thailand Cultural Center isn't far, and the MRT, 7-11 stores, and night markets are just a stone's throw away.

A peaceful, quiet hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. The hot water worked, Wi-Fi was good, and the staff did their best to help with everything.

I've been staying here for two or three years now and keep coming back. The rooms are clean and convenient, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There's a metro station about a 10-minute walk away, with lots of good restaurants nearby. Big C and Fortune Town are close, and Huai Khwang Market isn't far. When durian is in season, I go there to buy some and eat it.

I liked having plenty of food stalls just a few minutes away, and enjoyed picking up different local foods for breakfast. They do daily housekeeping, and laundry is 50B per basket, which I was grateful for. Staff are on the first floor during business hours but don't speak English. The house has official Line and WeChat in English and Chinese, so questions and requests were easy to handle that way. The hotel sits in a local area, away from the main road, so it's quiet outside. The road leading there is narrow, and I'd suggest taking a motorbike. Noise was the big problem at first. The walls and building don't block sound well, so I could hear showers and conversations, and on my first night the family upstairs made a lot of noise. Their child ran back and forth and sometimes shouted, and with bare flooring, footsteps and running carried easily. I could also hear motorcycles through the window at three in the morning. The rest of my stay was okay and I didn't hear the upstairs noise again, probably because they had left. If you're sensitive to noise, I wouldn't recommend staying here.
