On 27 December at around 10:00 AM, I had an interaction with a male staff member working the day shift near the check-in counter at Rest Is More Hostel. I had ordered ice cream for delivery, and it hadn't been put in a refrigerator. I understand this may have been an oversight or that staff might not have known it had arrived, and I had no problem with that part. When I brought it up politely, the staff member responded rudely and aggressively in both tone and wording. I stayed calm and respectful, but felt dismissed and talked down to. I can't recall his exact words, though the interaction was clearly unprofessional. Whatever the operational limits or responsibilities, disrespectful or aggressive communication with guests is unacceptable in hospitality, especially in a guest-facing job. I'm raising this to help uphold service standards and prevent similar situations. For clarity and fairness, I ask management to review the CCTV footage from the check-in counter area around 10:00 AM on 27 December, since it should give an objective record of what happened. It's kept very clean, and as the name suggests, the hostel is a place to get some rest away from the city's hustle and bustle. There's no party atmosphere here. The one thing to keep in mind is that it's far from the Metro, which can matter when planning transfers.

I stayed during Songkran and had an amazing time. The hostel is modern and spotlessly clean, and these were the most comfortable beds I slept on during my three months traveling around Asia. 🔥😍 It's a good choice if you want somewhere away from the noisy, crowded areas while staying close to major attractions. It also works really well for digital nomads who want to cowork and get things done.

It has a cozy, home-like feel, and I was happy to have that instead of a party hostel. It's quieter than the party hostel (here hostel), but I didn't mind. The staff are helpful, the beds are really comfortable, and you have what you need: lockers under the beds, drinking water, a microwave, and a fridge. A very nice woman cleans the showers every day, and the keycard for getting in and out of the room made me feel safe. You're on the more local side of Bangkok, which I liked.

The people staying there were great. We talked for hours and hung out together, and the atmosphere was so friendly. It's centrally located too, with everything close by, no more than about 20 minutes away on foot. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, with a personal light and different types of chargers by each bed. They provide towels, and everywhere was clean, especially the toilets. Hot water is available around the clock, along with electricity, a hair dryer, and the other facilities. One of the best hostels in Bankok!!! I had a perfect stay and will really miss it. ❤️
