This place sucks. The room lights didn't work, and things were constantly dirty. The shower towels were old and worn out. There's a washer, but guests aren't allowed to use it, while dirty laundry is left out all night. WiFi didn't work either. The front desk didn't seem to care, and the language barrier made it harder to sort out. Nobody offered a fix or called for service, even though all it needed was a simple reset. I watched another guest unplug it and get the WiFi back.

They were overbooked and offered no fix. Reception couldn't speak English, and this is basically an airport hotel. Usually, they should arrange another hotel and cover the transport, but they refused and left me to deal with it myself.

At 2:20 a.m., police forced me out because there was a problem with my booking.com reservation, which was the hotel's fault, and the hotel wouldn't discuss it. Check-in at 6 p.m. had gone smoothly: they photographed my passport, took no payment, and handed over the room keys. Oddly, they later claimed there was no record of my reservation at all. Around 9 p.m., a staff member came to my room to say the booking didn't exist. I showed her the confirmation, receipts, and payment taken from my bank account. She seemed satisfied and left, saying I should contact booking.com, even though the problem was on their side. I guess their call didn't go well, because later two armed police officers woke me from a deep sleep and forced me onto the street at 2:30 a.m. I calmly offered to pay cash for the night and sort out the booking.com issue myself in the morning, but she said hotel policy wouldn't allow it. When I asked for 10-15 minutes to pack, she said, "I'm not giving you any time, get out right now." Luckily, the police were reasonable.

Being near the airport doesn't make up for the rest. Check-in took us more than 30 minutes and was complicated, and the water pressure was really low with no hot water. Worst price-to-service ratio of our holiday.
