The khao soi with stewed pork leg is my favorite here, absolutely phenomenal. The restaurant is excellent, and the food is very inexpensive too.

Avoid the tourist information place in front of this hotel. We paid four times what it should have cost for tickets to Ayutthaya and were left at the terminal with no explanation. We were told a small shuttle would pick us up at the agency at 9 a.m., but an hour later we ended up at a bus terminal, even though it's only a 10-minute drive away. A taxi there would have been 100 THB, then the minibus about 60 THB. Doing it on your own would save time, money, and energy.

The location on the main KhaoSan Road is splendid. This is an economical choice, so keep expectations modest. The washrooms are shared, but it's still much better than a dorm or hostel. If it's hot, spend a little extra for air conditioning instead of getting a room with fans.

Not recommended. The hotel is very cheap, but the room is too small and very dirty, including the bathroom. Don't stay here.

It's very cheap and convenient, though nothing fancy. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they'll help you steer clear of the many businesses that try to rip off unsuspecting tourists.
