The staff deserve a mention first. They were very friendly, accommodating, and provided top-notch service. I stayed at S15 for 7 days, and the location was another big plus, with lots around and the Skytrain close by. The room was spacious, with a huge bathroom that had both a shower and a tub. I also tried the on-site Massage Spa, and the 120-minute aroma Massage was heavenly. The only letdown for me was the gym. There wasn’t much equipment, which is fine for most people, but I’m a gym nut and wished there was more. The hot and wet saunas helped make up for that. I’d definitely stay again when I’m in Bangkok.

I had a wonderful stay, thanks in part to the helpful staff and a tub that was great for soaking after a day of shopping. Asok station is just a 7-minute walk away. The design feels a bit dated, and the main road outside means the rooms can be pretty noisy even at night. I could smell street food from my room, too, so maybe ask for a higher floor if you can.

The room was good, the bed comfy, and the place clean, but road noise kept me awake at night even with earbuds. Breakfast was okay for the price, though some things felt a bit stingy. We booked as a couple and got just one coffee capsule in the room. When I asked for an extra towel, they brought only one. The night staff could have been more customer-friendly. I felt like a nuisance for making a simple request, and that kind of feeling is what sticks with you.

I slept well despite hearing the nearby BTS, thanks to blackout curtains that kept the room dark for daytime naps. The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a fancy smart toilet. Staff were incredibly nice and checked me in quickly. Breakfast was good, with several options. The location is excellent, right on Sukhumvit. There’s a 24-hour coffee shop next door, Terminal 21 is about two blocks away, and the BTS is just minutes off. The SW1 night market is across the street, with lots of other food choices nearby, from street stalls to high-end dining.

Breakfast on the second floor was a real surprise. There were eggs made to order, bacon, sausage, American and Asian-style choices, fresh fruit, drinks, smoothies, and cappuccino. The room was bright and sunny, with a lovely street view. The staff were always accommodating, and the food was excellent every day. I can’t say anything negative about it, and I’d come back for breakfast alone. I’ve had a wonderful four days at S15. I’m 64, an old white guy who spent most of my adult life traveling for work and only started traveling for fun near the end of my career. I chose this hotel based on reviews and location, especially its short walk to Terminal 21, one of my favorite shopping places. Thermae cafe and the Softel Hotel are around the block. There’s a coffee shop and Burger King next door. I don’t eat at Burger King, but it’s convenient. The seafood house about 2 1/2 blocks down is both delicious and cheap, and the food around here in general is incredible and inexpensive. S15 is a small boutique hotel in a premium spot, with a great facility. The staff are accommodating, speak fluent English, and know about the local festivals happening during my stay. Sadly, the queen has just passed away, so the country is in mourning and some things are different than usual. The lobby is great and there’s a garage at the back. Things look cramped, but they aren’t. I had a larger-than-normal room on the third floor, with a leather sofa and a lounge area at the foot of the bed. I was very pleased with it. The minibar was fully stocked, the Wi-Fi was high-speed, and room service was available past 10:30 PM. I ordered it last night and it was phenomenal. The rain shower is another nice touch. The linens are new, the towels fresh and fluffy, and the bed so soft I overslept way too much. I’ll come back to this hotel, probably for a few more nights on this same trip. In my humble opinion, it offers what a traveler needs and then some, from its location and staff to the facilities and linens. It’s a five-star hotel living under a four-star banner. I’ll update this review after I return, probably in a couple of weeks. Thanks for reading.
