A lovely guest house run by a sweet Thai family, with simple fan rooms. The rooms are small, with a double bed, shelf, desk, and mirror, and not much else inside. There's a rooftop full of plants, and the place is close to Lumpini park and MRT without the noise. Lots of food choices at $-$$, plus a 7/11 around the corner. Definitely recommended!
I always choose this place when I'm in Bangkok. It's modest, clean, and peaceful, run by a lovely Thai family. The roof area with all the plants is amazing, and Lumpini Park, the subway, and plenty of other useful options are nearby.
The rooms are small but comfortable, and the staff are friendly. It's quite far from most public transport.
Lumpini Park is close by, and nights are quiet. The room is cramped and small, and the bathroom is shared. Fine for a night or two.
It's very basic: just a bed, table, hanger, and fan in the room, with no air conditioning. Toilets and showers are on every floor, but hot water is only available in the showers on the second floor.
