Woraburi Sukhumvit Hotel & Resort

Woraburi is tucked down a side street at the quieter end of a very lively road, and two lovely parks are within walking distance. That location suited me really well. The 24-hour service desk was handy, and there’s both a restaurant and a cafe on site. I especially liked stopping at Siri for coffee and a snack. The rooftop pool is on the small side, but it’s very clean and has pleasant surroundings. My room was kept tidy, too. All of this came at a very affordable price, so I’d happily recommend it.

For breakfast, I’d skip the package next time. The food tastes good, but it’s the same every day, there’s only instant coffee, and a lot seems to go to waste. Guests get a glass of milk that hardly anyone drank, along with yoghurt, toast, marmalade, and other items. An à la carte option or a chance to choose specific items would make more sense. The hotel is old but well looked after, with spotless rooms and good service. Its location works well for shopping, though for sightseeing I’d choose somewhere nearer the blue line. In my standard room, the bathroom was nice and the furniture sturdy, but the bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress needs replacing.

The rooms are basic but clean and tidy, and the staff are helpful, present themselves well, and clearly know their jobs. I only wish they provided English Breakfast tea in the rooms alongside the coffee and milk. The location worked for me, a little away from the busiest centre but still within walking distance of what you need. Yes, I’d stay again.

The reception team surprised me with a birthday cake, and Dani kindly printed something for me too. Really lovely service. The rooftop pool was a great place to unwind before the five-minute walk to the party area. I slept peacefully without street noise, and the hotel was super value for money.
