Shophouse 26

The room at Shophouse 26 felt comfortable and homely, with plenty of space, a clean interior, and thoughtful decor. I also appreciated how flexible check-in was. The self-check-in option made arriving easy and convenient. It’s a peaceful spot away from the city's bustle, and the shophouse combines traditional Thai architecture with modern amenities. My stay was exceptional.

There’s a coffee shop downstairs with good coffee, which was a nice perk. The train station is only a two-minute walk away, though the place itself sits on a quieter back street. I liked the minimalist, stylish decor, and the room at the back faced a calm, green area.

During our seven nights, we found the outside door shut but unlocked on about four occasions because people hadn't secured it properly. We locked it ourselves using the host’s instructions so everyone, including the coffee shop inside, would be safe. The host had sent an easy video showing how to open and close the gates at night. The place is unique, comfortable, and minimalist. The host was kind and quick to reply, and the cleaner was sweet even though she didn't speak English. There’s a nice coffee shop on the first floor for a quick cup nearby. We had a nice stay and hope to return to try another room.

A major flood happened on the day we arrived, so unfortunately we couldn't stay at the Airbnb. Khun Tae, the owner, was very helpful with our request and did a great job supporting us and sorting out the problems. Thank you!
