Some parts of Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Bangkok Menam Riverside are a little dated, but I felt it was good value and would happily stay there again. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice, and the outdoor pool facing the river was a nice place to unwind after sightseeing. Being right by the river was a real plus. The views were lovely, and river boats and the riverside market were easy to get to, which made exploring Bangkok enjoyable. It was a relaxed, comfortable base for my visit.

The gym was the one weak spot for me. It was quite limited and not in great shape, so keep that in mind if workouts matter to you. Otherwise, the place was clean, comfortable, and well kept, just as described. Getting around was fairly easy, with food and transportation nearby. The overall quality and upkeep felt hotel-like, and our stay was easy and stress-free. We enjoyed it enough that we’d book again.

The food poisoning at Báhn bistro was the worst part. I still have digestive problems from it, even now. I’d spent a long time thinking about this review. I paid for a five-week vacation and was looking forward to it after hearing so many good things about Bangkok. But when I showed my passport, the receptionist seemed to lose her smile after realizing I wasn’t from Australia or the US, just an ordinary country in the middle of Europe. I felt like an immigrant the whole time. It was a huge letdown, and I’ll probably never return to Thailand.

The premier twin room we booked was very spacious. Everyone on staff was polite and really helpful. The food looked good and reasonably priced, though we didn’t have enough time to try it. The location was great, near the BTS skytrain and a large grocery store.

The rooms were the best part of my stay at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Bangkok Sukhumvit 48. Mine was spacious and spotless, with a modern look, a comfortable bed, and a great view over the city. The hotel felt modern, and I had a fantastic experience.
