The free breakfast has a good range and is substantial, and the rooms are nicely set up, with soft pillows and linens, a firm but comfortable mattress, and a TV with local channels plus a Miracast media box. You take your shoes off each time you enter, so complicated footwear can be a hassle. The room key also controls the air conditioning, which means coming back to a room that’s a bit warm and humid. The AC cools it down well, though, so even in a heat wave it wasn’t a big problem. Silom Studios is tucked at the end of the soi, quiet enough to feel secluded but still close to the action. You can walk to most things and catch a Grab or the sky train for places further away. The owners are especially friendly, and the clean, modern look should suit plenty of travelers. It’s a comfortable, hip option along Silom, and I’d recommend it for people traveling without young children.

I was happy with my first stay, so I booked again. The location is central but very quiet, and the rooms are simple, modern, and clean. On my second visit, less than two weeks later, they gave me new house rules that hadn’t been mentioned on the website or during booking. I told them they needed to let guests know before they book and pay. The staff were really rude about it, which was no way to handle the situation. I could either accept the new terms, which I refused, or leave, so I moved on. It’s a private home rather than a hotel, and some of the practices aren’t very good.

The host is friendly, and the room was clean and spacious. It’s a five-minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS station, handy for anyone wanting to stay near Silom. There wasn’t much choice for breakfast or many amenities, but comfort matters more to me, so I was content. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to people visiting Bangkok.

Easy check-in and check-out, good communication, and a nice breakfast. We spent three nights in a studio, which was spotless and looked new. Highly recommend it.
