Spark Hotel

The location is great, and there are plenty of local places to eat since there’s no restaurant. The rooms are a bit small. Parking was a funny little adventure because the check-in staff insisted I had to park in a particular way. I think they were just having fun with me.

For a budget trip, this place is worth considering. It’s not the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in, but clean enough for the price, and just one MRT stop from asoke. The room is small, though it’s certainly not expensive, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There are street food stands right nearby, plus a 7/11 and a good bakery. It’s a five-minute walk to the MRT, and you can see the hotel as soon as you come out of exit 4. The so-called co-working space is basically a table, but you can sit and work there. It’s usable, just not a full co-working setup.

I don’t recommend this hotel. We paid a 500 baht deposit when checking in for one night, and they kept it at checkout without explaining why. The hotel was already in very poor condition, and the man at reception was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful. There’s no customer service here. I’m sharing this so other people don’t make the same mistake.

The hotel is central to everything and has a good view. It was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
