Sukhumvit 50 hostel

Inside, the hotel is first rate: my room looked new and contemporary, was clean, and had a big comfortable bed, a full-service kitchen with clean new appliances, and a sparkling bathroom with a separate tub and shower. Breakfast was a treat, with a small buffet plus what seemed to be anything from the regular menu. The women serving in the morning were lovely. The balcony faced a barrier and highway, so there was no view. Given the odd triangular building between the highway and a noisy main street, I doubt many rooms have a good view. One employee annoyed me, and checking out was frustrating too. The staff need training on credit cards.

The rooms were spacious, the amenities were up to standard, and the staff were polite and helpful. We had a perfect vacation and no other complaints. I took off a star for service because toiletries and bathroom items such as towels should be changed daily. I know it's an apartment rather than a hotel, but I still think they should be refreshed every day.

We stayed about 40 days in February 2025. Apart from one rooftop staff member, everyone was nice, especially the chubby security boy. He should be the manager there. We asked a woman working on the rooftop if we could bring outside food to sit by the pool. Instead of answering, she asked, “Do you have a room here?” That was an incredibly ridiculous thing to say. Staff should be trained to respond politely instead of answering a question with another question. We paid the hotel more than 150,000 THB and felt judged by her. The worst possibility is that she was racist, since I'm Thai and my boyfriend is black. It's been about eight months, and even though this review is late, we still can't forget it.

The service and cleanliness at both properties made me feel looked after, whether I was there briefly or for a longer stay. At Marriott Executive Apartments Sukhumvit 50, I slept wonderfully in a luxurious bed, enjoyed a fantastic bathroom, and loved the food. It felt warm, safe, and welcoming for a solo traveler. GM Alexander Schöll brings professionalism, presence, and competence to both teams. Sukhumvit 101 felt even more comfortable and elegant, with understated interiors, an excellent gym, and a beautiful pool for a refreshing break from the city. The team there gave the same outstanding service and made me feel at home. Both stays exceeded my expectations. These places feel like luxurious urban retreats in a vibrant city.
