Check-in was quick and easy, and the rooms were clean. The shared space was decorated nicely, but when I visited the hostel felt cold and had no real vibe. The few other guests weren’t sociable and didn’t even answer a hello. Getting to the metro takes about ten minutes on foot, crossing some smelly canals, and the location overall isn’t great. Still, if all you need is a clean, inexpensive place to sleep, it could work.
My partner and I have stayed at T Hostel twice now. We like being away from Bangkok’s busiest, most touristy areas, while still having the metro a short walk away. The staff are all lovely, and the rooms are clean, spacious, and have the main things you need.
The room was clean, and the facilities were in good shape. Staff were friendly too. It’s a bit removed from the action, so you’ll probably need taxis, which are easy to find nearby. Sukhumvit is about a half-hour walk if you’re up for it, and there’s a metro station not far from there. A 7-eleven and small market are close by.
We only stayed one night in a double room with its own bathroom. The bed was really comfortable, and reception was flexible about our arrival time. Cute, clean place and good value for the price. It’s a little far from the centre and tourist sights, in what felt like a very local neighborhood.
We had a great stay for about two weeks. The room was modern, large, and very clean, and the location worked well for us. The receptionist was really nice and helpful. The one thing that put me off was the neighborhood: it was quite dirty, and the sewage smelled really bad.
