The CAPSULE by UnionSPACE - Adults Only

A funky spot on the fourth floor of a co-working space in Bangkok. The pod rooms have plenty of space, even for me at six foot four, and it’s quiet with GREAT wifi. Residents get 25% off at the cafe downstairs. There were lots of like-minded entrepreneurs and travellers around. I liked the location too, about a seven-minute walk from restaurants, massages, malls and the BTS station.

For about 500 Baht per capsule, it’s a nice, clean stay for the price. There are two bathrooms, a balcony, a big kitchen, plenty of offices for personal use and good Wi-Fi. The showers and toilets are normally clean. In Ekkamai, it’s near the Skytrain and a 24-hour food store, with an easy train or car ride to the city center. There are restaurants nearby, from cheap bistros to very expensive ones, and a club close by.

It’s small and cosy, with only eight capsules. The capsules have locks, but the hostel itself doesn’t, so anyone can come in. There’s no cooking, just a microwave and fridge.

Great experience. There’s a coworking space with free Wi-Fi, a japan resto, business administration services, and lots of fun events.
