The Lantern Suites

I spent more than three weeks here and had a really good stay. The new, well-kept building and the suites were great, and both the owner and hosts were friendly and attentive. It’s a comfortable location away from traffic, while still not too far from the airports. I had no complaints and thought it was good value. Would recommend it.

The hotel was quiet at night, the bed was comfortable, and the towels were surprisingly soft. Parking was easy too, with spaces in front and safe street parking. The room felt like a studio, and I appreciated that the air conditioning didn’t blow straight onto the bed. The place was beautifully decorated, colorful, and in very good condition. I was in town for an exhibition at Impact Challenger, which is more or less around the corner. The manager welcomed me warmly. A few good restaurants are about 300 m away; I tried Iron Age for Korean BBQ and really enjoyed it. There’s also a local shop across from the hotel where I picked up a drink and had a lovely little chat with the people there. I’ll stay again.

I stayed at the Lantern Suites for four weeks and felt very welcome the whole time. The room was clean and comfortable, and the area is a nice choice if you want to be outside the busy city center. There are pleasant walks and local markets nearby, and getting to know local people was a real blessing. I may come back when I visit Bangkok again.

The manager made booking easy, replied right away when I had questions, and shared lots of suggestions for Bangkok and traveling around Thailand. Rates are very reasonable. The suites were spotless, with large comfortable beds and good air conditioning, and the staff were friendly. It’s near Amazon cafe for coffee, with plenty of breakfast options close by. A charming little boutique hotel, and a real gem.
