The Lux Ladprao 10

I liked how easy the room was to use, with a fridge, microwave, table for two and TV. The bedroom felt cozy, and although there’s a pool, I didn’t have time to use it during my few busy days there. Union Mall is less than a kilometer away, which was ideal since my event was there. After it finished at night, I felt safe walking back, using the footbridge to cross the big roads. The person at the lobby counter spoke English well enough that communicating was easy. I really enjoyed the stay and would consider coming back.

The owner and staff made me feel very welcome. It’s a lovely place for either a work trip or a holiday, with transport hubs and shopping malls close by.

For an affordable apart hotel, it has a lot going for it: a quiet setting, parking, a private pool and gym, and local food about 10 minutes from the metro. There’s self-service laundry and a water refill machine, plus a restaurant by reception and massage services upstairs. My one complaint from a six-day stay is that the bed linen never got changed. They did the usual cleaning, replaced towels and topped up the toiletries.

This is a condo, so the service isn’t like a hotel. Staff won’t replace the sheets unless you put the designated card on the bed. There weren’t enough amenities, no razor or toothbrush, and the Wi-Fi was slow.
