The River Side Bangkok - Penthouse Rhine @ The River

We'd booked the hotel before going to Phuket, and the staff kindly let us leave our luggage there. We were really grateful for that. They were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, and the rooms were comfortable, relaxing, and lovely to look at. The place has such a beautiful aesthetic vibe, with an amazing rooftop view over ICONSIAM. It's about a 10-minute walk to ICONSIAM, which makes exploring easy. A wonderful, budget-friendly stay 😊

Good price, and the hotel was very clean with large rooms. It's in a great spot for an easy walk to Iconsiam or for setting off on river trips. The staff were friendly, and the foyer and roof area are nice places to relax.

The room was big, with a comfortable bed, and the staff were super nice, always smiling. They even brought extra hangers since I don't put my clothes in the dryer. Laundry service on site was 50 bhat, which I really appreciated. It's excellent value, less than a five-minute walk from ICONSIAM, and there's a free outdoor gym nearby. The rooftop has awesome views, though I think they could make even more of the space. It was still nice to have somewhere to smoke that wasn't the street. There's no safe, but I keep a lock on my luggage, and the room locks securely anyway. The hotel is tucked down a small residential street by the river. I get why some reviews call it shady, especially if you're not used to traveling, but there's another boutique hotel on the same street and I had no concerns. It's very safe, and mostly cats occupy the area. Some people mention a smell in the rooms. Mine went away within seconds once I turned on the AC or opened the window, as the room had been closed up without air circulation. No complaints from me.

This is my second year staying here for the summer and Christmas holidays. The neighborhood is quiet, and Icon Siam and the BTS station are about a 10-minute walk away. The rooms are huge, clean, and serviced every day.
