The pool and the reception area look polished, and the place seems to put a lot into its marketing and shared spaces. But the rooms don't live up to the price, which starts at 2,500 baht a night. They were only okay in size, and smelled damp and unpleasant. The outside looks appealing, though there isn't much substance once you get past that. My main issue was the service. Most of the reception and restaurant staff I dealt with came across as cold, rude, or condescending. For a hotel that costs more than some others, the customer service felt much worse. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The pool looks good, but it was nearly always so crowded that we couldn't use it. The staff also seemed checked out, chatting among themselves and often not greeting guests. Once, when I came in, an employee watched me open the door and then awkwardly acted like they were going to open it after I already had. Food deliveries have to be picked up downstairs, and another time several staff were just gossiping instead of helping. We stayed nine days after booking ahead for my birthday in early January 2026. I also mentioned that we were expecting, but nobody acknowledged either note. There wasn't a greeting, card, or even a small gesture. We arrived late, paid, and went to a room where the air conditioning hadn't been switched on. It felt stuffy and smelled strongly of mold mixed with odors left by earlier guests. I work in hospitality, and this place felt badly managed. Casual uniforms are fine, but basic greetings, attention to guest notes, and genuine care were missing. After three days, it was clear to me that appearance mattered more than comfort. The hotel looks nice in photos, but that isn't how the stay felt. We told staff about the smell the next day. They said housekeeping had checked and everything was okay, but the mold odor was still there. Reading other reviews, it seemed to me this could be a design problem rather than housekeeping. There's no bathroom window, and moisture seems to stay trapped despite a small ventilator. Even guests who switched rooms reported the same smell. The shower pressure was about as weak as the service. Pros: You get a room, and maybe you'll be lucky and it won't smell moldy. Cons: Poor ventilation, little service culture, no notice of special occasions, and an “IBIS 2.0” kind of experience dressed up as something more. Sad to say, I wouldn't come back.

The location works well for ordering food, but I could get a much bigger room for the same price. The room was small, and the toilet was so tiny that two people couldn't fit in it. Agoda said there'd be a bathtub, but ours didn't have one. Staff explained that this room type only has a tub in some rooms, which felt misleading. It's supposed to sleep two adults and a child, yet the bed was just a queen and far too small for three. The shower pressure was extremely weak, and I had to hold the shower head the whole time because its angle couldn't be adjusted.

The staff were really helpful and friendly, 5/5, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and a good size. The pool area was pleasant, the gym was useful, and getting amenity kits was easy. The pool gets very crowded on weekends, though, and could use more sun chairs. It feels like a younger crowd stays here. The location isn't too far out, but it's not very convenient. The shuttle only goes one way; sometimes you might catch it on the return, since it can't wait in Phom Phrong. It'd be helpful if they could arrange a stop farther along in advance, with a bus every half hour. The modern room style feels a little cheap and gimmicky, and nothing about it really says luxury, especially for its price, which feels a bit above where it should be. Some buttons didn't work, even though the hotel had recently been renovated. The bathroom is across from the bed, leaving the bed closer to the hallway and more exposed, so hallway noise carries in. The cafe, spa, and rooftop restaurant were a little pricey, though that's to be expected. I liked the cleanliness and helpful staff. It was a good hotel, just not a wow experience, and I don't have any major complaints.

I hope management supports Nimit's growth and recognizes the work he puts in. He told me he's an intern, and I could see real potential for him in hospitality. He was attentive and hardworking, always polite, humble, and sweet, and stood out from everyone else I interacted with during my stay. What impressed me most was how ready he was to listen and learn, without any arrogance. He's one of the breakfast buffet waiters, and I wanted to commend him.
