Trica Hostel

We had a private room for four on the fourth floor, and it was roomy and clean, with its own bathroom. The bed was a huge bunk for four and the AC was nice and cold. You have to take the stairs, but my friends and I were fine with that. The hot water wasn't very reliable, though in Bangkok weather a cold shower is always better. Towels can be replaced for 40 baht. They provide towels, a hair dryer, shampoo, and bath soap. It's a cute, clean hostel with lovely hospitality. We arrived after midnight, and they handled self check-in without any trouble. Shoes and sandals have to stay downstairs on the racks. There's a washing machine, a spacious communal room, and a kitchen area with a fridge and microwave. The location is pretty good, not crowded, and Big C Xtra with its food court is nearby. On Nut BTS is about a 10-minute walk. Definitely recommended!

Forget MOS Burger or anywhere else, this is Bangkok's best teriyaki chicken burger! The chicken is juicy, with just the right sweetness and tang, plus mustard. The king of teriyaki burgers!!!

I've ordered their food a few times over the past few years, and the quality has stayed just as good. I love the karaage, tatsuta-age style, and the tonjiru with pork, radish, carrot, shiitake mushrooms, and a few other things. This is a delivery-only review. I ordered through LINE MAN, since Grab wasn't listed, and delivery was quick. The karaage set is 220 baht, with a bento, five big pieces, and tonjiru, a miso soup with pork and vegetables. An a la carte order of the same five karaage pieces with fries is 140 baht, and a larger serving of tonjiru than the set soup is 100 baht.

It's a great cafe and hostel to hang out at with friends. I like the coffee and food, and there's indoor and outdoor seating. The cafe also works as a small bar, so you can grab a beer. The menu is small, but the food is delicious. I especially like the Thai curry when they have it, though it's a daily special and isn't always available.
