U Tor Yaowarat

I enjoyed my four-night stay as a solo female traveler. The location is great, near Chinatown, with cafes and restaurants close by, and the rooms were clean. My first deluxe double faced the main road and was so noisy I couldn’t sleep at all. Reception helped move me the next day. Management should improve the soundproofing or make it clear that road-facing rooms are loud.

The staff made the stay feel welcoming, and the room was spotless and comfortable, even though my single room was on the small side. Everything looked new. The hotel sits right in the middle of Chinatown, which was a great base. There's no restaurant in the building, but you can ask to have a simple breakfast brought to your room. Booking directly can also get you some good deals.

The price felt very fair for such a clean, well-kept room and a spot so close to Yaowarat. I stayed at this new hotel recently and the friendly staff made me feel at home. A great choice for a Bangkok visit! ❤️❤️❤️

The rooms are nice, the hotel seems quite new, and the price is reasonable. Staff are pleasant, but they seem to need more training on how things are supposed to work. Breakfast was a good example: the first person asked when we wanted it, but on other days it arrived at 8am even though we'd requested 11am. The WiFi setup is odd and it was out for a few hours. There isn't a Do not disturb sign, and the hotel doesn't show up on the Grab map. Noise was another problem. You can hear a phone ringing three floors above, as well as street sounds and the neighbors. The soundproofing is poor. I also wonder how a new hotel got so many Google Map reviews. If it isn't new, why isn't it on Grab? With a few small fixes it could be a great place. I hope to give it another try after improvements.
