The infinity pool is gorgeous, and the gym is in okay shape, about 7/10. The breakfast buffet was great for the price, 300 baht per person if you’re a group of three or more. We stayed two nights on the 25th floor, where the suite was very spacious, over 1,000 square feet across two rooms, with a fully equipped kitchen. The views and location were also good. There were some frustrating drawbacks. The furniture is dated, and the wall outlets are poorly placed, making it hard to charge devices. Wi-Fi was weak, with no bedroom signal for most of the night, and repeated speed tests showed only about 15 mbps. Cell service was poor too, just 1-2 bars for AIS and True. Hot water took longer than usual, up to around 4 minutes. Based on my hospitality and tourism studies, I’d rate it four stars at most, despite booking.com advertising it as five.

I had a very nice experience with all the staff I met, and the pool is wonderful. The location is great too. Urbana is more of a serviced apartment than a true five-star hotel, which has upsides and downsides: the rooms are huge, but there aren’t many amenities. Given the price in the CBD, it was much better than I expected from the reviews below. We’ll come again.

The location made it easy to explore everything nearby on foot, and the city view from the hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. We had a wonderful stay, with excellent service and staff who were always friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was clean and relaxing. We were very satisfied and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

We had a lovely apartment and even got a free upgrade, which was a nice touch. The staff were all kind and friendly, and we enjoyed the tasty breakfast. The pool and gym area was awesome too. If you want a good hotel in a good area for your next Bangkok stay, I’d definitely recommend Urbana Sathorn. Thanks very much.

We stayed four days and, despite requesting it, the room was never cleaned. Someone entered without permission and took pictures of our fridge, then at checkout we were given a bill for beer. There was no warm water either. A very bad experience. There are plenty of better places, so pass this one by.
