I wouldn’t recommend this place to non-Thai visitors, even though it’s clean and new, because it feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. It’s about a mile down Soi 23, and I only got there by motorcycle from the main road, Ram Intra. I don’t know how other reviewers managed it without their own cars and GPS. Getting food is difficult too. You need another motorcycle ride just to reach a 7-11. The two closest malls with restaurants are 15-25 minutes away by taxi. I had to flag down a motorcycle and get a ride two miles to a busy intersection before I could find a taxi. I’m not sure how other reviewers fed themselves. It is much cleaner than most Thai hotels at this price, probably because it’s new and everything still works. But what about that beautiful sink in the photo? Does anyone know how to stop the water draining, so you can wash your underwear, for example? I couldn’t get the photo to upload, even after trying six times.

The people are lovely and the place is accommodating. It gets noisy in the early morning because the walls are a bit thin, though nights are quiet. There’s a great cafe next door.

The room had good keycard locks, both for the room and the building, and there was plenty of tidy parking on a paved lot. The place is comfortable, clean, and modern, with a good mattress and bathroom. The people were very friendly, though I can’t say whether they speak English since my Thai friend arranged everything. It’s a nice option in the Ram Intra suburb, with Don Muang airport nearby if you have a flight. There are local restaurants and shops around, plus a market area with fruit and food stalls.

There’s plenty of privacy here, and it doesn’t feel crowded. The rooms are attractive and clean, and would suit either a short or longer stay. It’s quiet, has the usual facilities like a kettle, hair dryer, TV, and a sink outside the room, and the price is affordable.

We paid 800 baht for one night at Villa 23, plus a 500 baht deposit. They only took cash. The room was clean and fine for a night, but dark, small, and poorly furnished for the week we’d originally planned, especially at that price, so we moved elsewhere. They wouldn’t return the 500 baht deposit in cash and would only send it back to a card account. That really pissed me off. It’s clean, but very expensive.
