VR Hostel

We paid 490 baht for a private room with a shared bathroom, and the AC worked well. There were no windows, but that was fine for us since we only needed somewhere to sleep after walking around Chatuchak market. WiFi worked pretty well, and we got our 300 baht security deposit back at checkout. It’s a pretty old place that needs maintenance, so I wouldn’t recommend it for a family or a couple. For a bachelor looking for a cheap, simple stay, it could be a good option. We stayed one night because it’s fairly close to Chatuchak market. The owner seemed like a relaxed, cool guy, though you need a lot of patience when talking with him. Early check-in costs extra depending on the time.

Worst hostel ever. The rooms were dirty, there were cockroaches in the kitchen, and the shower smelled.

Be careful. The place should cost 100 baht at most. Everything was dirty, even the bed and towels, and it was the worst restroom I’ve ever seen. There’s no room key unless you pay the 'risky' deposit. The owner wasn’t reliable and came into our room while we were eating outside. It feels like they stopped cleaning 30 years ago. The owner tells all the customers the hostel is full, which is complete nonsense. People stay one night at most and run away. Really bad experience. Next time I’d rather sleep in a park. If you need to stay here, be careful.

There was a nasty smell, and the room and bed were extremely dirty. There was no security, and the person in charge seemed mad. It cost 300 baht per person on February 21, 2025. The location was the only good thing. Better not to stay there. It was the worst place I’ve ever visited.
