White Orchid Inn II

You get what you pay for here. It’s one of the cheapest places around, and the standards are among the lowest too. The location is perfect, and it’s good enough for a few nights. Things could be better, but you get a decent sleep, your own bathroom, a fridge, and a TV.

The worst stay I’ve had on my trips to Thailand. The owner was stupid and didn’t know how to treat guests. It felt like a third-class lodge.

No elevator, tiny room, and the worst service I’ve had in Bangkok.

I spent two nights in a windowless room with tiny cockroaches everywhere, on the walls, table, toilet, and bed. Water kept leaking from the shower into the toilet area no matter how tightly I turned the valve. Right above the bed, the wooden headboard had a crack covered with a couple of worn pieces of duct tape. The sheets and towels didn’t look clean, though they were. The pillows and mattress had dried stains all over them. The TV worked, but the average signal left a lot of visual noise on the screen. Avoid this inn if you have no compromises to make in exchange for the low overnight price.
