Wire Bangkok Prakhanong

Staff were great, and downstairs was a nice place to spend time or get out of the heat if you're travelling or working remotely. The coffee and Thai tea were great too. The location was convenient, with food, a convenience store, laundry, and the train line all within walking distance. The room was much smaller than it looked in the pictures. Sharing it with my partner felt like being in a shoebox, and I left my clothes in my luggage because there wasn't room to unpack. The toilet, shower, and sink were all together in one space.

The receptionists were friendly and sold cold beer at a decent price. My room was mostly quiet, apart from one guest noisily coming back after a night out, which lasted about five minutes. There are good food options nearby. The bed was firm but comfortable enough, though the pillows were a little lumpy. The air conditioning was effective and quiet, but the shower wouldn't get very hot and the water flow wasn't impressive. A decent place to crash overall. The windows open to the outside if you want to grab a quick toke.

The relaxed vibe was great, and there was a ginger cat downstairs. Reception was always pleasant. I stayed three nights on my own and had a brilliant time. Phra Khanong sky train is five minutes away. The rooms are generally on the small side, but for a budget hotel like "Wire Bangkok", the bathrooms, beds, air conditioning, and cleanliness were all perfect, so there isn't much to complain about.

The location was okay, and the place might work for a night or two, but the rooms were very small, the bathroom was dirty, and noise carried badly. Staff didn't greet us. You can find better accommodation for just a little more money.
