Pratunam's day and night markets are easy to reach from Watergate City Hotel on Soi Phetchaburi 19, so you can shop, drop off your bags, and head back out for late-night street food without needing a taxi. The surrounding alleys also have plenty of good street food shops, with affordable options for Pad Thai late at night or noodles for breakfast. For a Bangkok visit focused on shopping and local food, this location is a real convenience.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a long stay. There are too many cockroaches, other insects, ants, and mice. My water heater didn't work, and although I reported it, nobody came to fix it. The towels were very dirty, and they didn't change the bed sheets. You can easily hear your roommate talking. The elevator is small, and hotel staff block the stairs and never move. This hotel doesn't meet hotel standards and is poor quality.

I stayed for five days. Street food shops are easy to find nearby, and the hotel is well placed for getting to the Pratunam day and night markets.

The reception staff are quick to help and understand the situation when you're staying for business. The hotel is very nice and clean. It has plenty of facilities, including Wi-Fi, TV, a clean bathroom, and a nice bed.

There are LOTS OF COCKROACHES 🪳🪳🪳, and the sheets have stains 🙈. The room is super tiny, so I wouldn't recommend bringing a 26-inch suitcase. The walls are made of asbestos, and noise comes through from every direction 🙉.
