WJ Hostel

I left angry and won’t be back. I booked a double room but was put in a dorm because they said they had no doubles. Why sell it online, then? I paid for a double room, and there was no way to get a refund, or I would have left. Then I noticed a double room next to my dorm that apparently had been booked. When I asked for a front door key, I was told there was no key for just one night and I could call if the receptionist wasn’t there. After waiting outside for hours to check in, I wasn’t willing to risk going out and being stuck outside again. I waited three hours outside, and nobody answered the phone during that time. Once inside, I saw a blackboard saying “open 24/7.” The bathroom was dirty, with hair stuck in the shower and floating in dirty water. The hall was a mess and didn’t look like a hostel. I suggest learning the basics of hospitality. Bangkok has nicer, cheaper hostels. Don’t waste your money.
