Good portions at decent prices, and the menu’s in English. Most diners seem to be tourists. The Thai food is solid and the staff are nice.

I only tried the food, since I didn’t stay here. The dish was simple, tasty, fairly priced for the area, and arrived quickly. There’s limited English, but pointing to the menu worked fine. I sat inside with the windows and door open and fans on, so traffic noise came through. I’d stop by again when I’m passing.

The staff were helpful. When the waitress noticed the kitchen had missed my request for no garlic, she took the dish back straight away to have it changed. I only had lunch at the restaurant, so I can’t speak to the rooms. The food was acceptable, though this isn’t somewhere I’d expect a superb meal. Prices seemed okay for central Bangkok.

I came for lunch on September 13 and ordered rice with shrimp. There was a fly in the bowl of spicy sauce. When I returned for dinner around 9:30pm and ordered the same dish, I found a little cockroach on the sauce bowl, which shocked me. I asked two waitresses to get the manager and tried to explain that they should check the sauce containers for hygiene, but they couldn’t speak English. The food was delicious, and the restaurant stays open until 1am, so I’m giving it 4 stars.
