Yon INN Sukhumvit 4 - BTS Nana

The rooms have been updated and feel modern while keeping a stylish Thai look. The grand lobby shows its age. My Platinum benefits were excellent: I got an upgrade and access to the executive lounge, where the offerings were incredible. One of the best welcome amenities I’ve had was sticky rice. Three pieces of laundry per day were included, which was great, but one of my dresses came back stinky.

The staff were amazing, with remarkable friendliness and service everywhere we interacted, from the restaurant, spa, room attendants, front desk, and concierge to the door greeter. We had a spectacular five-night stay in a corner suite. It was clean and had outstanding views. We loved using the lounge on the 16th floor for complimentary breakfast every day and evening bites now and then. We also had spa services twice, and both visits were excellent. We used the gym three times and appreciated how accessible and clean it was. The location worked perfectly for us, with a nearby park within walking distance for walks and outdoor activities. We were there when the seasonal holiday decorations went up, which was fun to see. We had an incredible time and highly recommend JW Marriott Bangkok. Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

I tried the Bangkok Baking Company and JW Cafe, and both the food and service were remarkable. The hotel itself feels like a polished retreat amid the busy Sukhumvit area, with the familiar reliability of Marriott and a newer Thai look after its renovations. Rooms have gray tones, light wood floors and marble details, plus comfortable beds with good linens and pillow choices. There’s a 55-inch TV, fast Wi-Fi, a proper desk, and a spacious marble bathroom with a soaking tub and separate rain shower. Getting around is easy. BTS Nana and BTS Ploenchit are a 2-3 minute walk away, and Central Embassy, Terminal 21 and Siam Paragon are a short Skytrain trip or taxi ride. It’s on Sukhumvit Soi 2, close to the action but off the main road. A dependable luxury stay for business or shopping, with great dining and warm Thai hospitality.

Oss at reception deserves a special mention. One of the kindest hospitality people I’ve met, Oss was calm, generous, intuitive and sincerely welcoming. That warmth came through across the hotel, from the concierge and front desk to the bell team and spa attendants. The service felt personal and thoughtful, including when we had small special requests. The hotel is a real oasis in the middle of the intensity of Bangkok’s Sukhumvit area. I’d gladly return and recommend it to family and friends. Marriott and the JW brand have a property to be proud of here.
