My House Hotel

It was really convenient to stay in the heart of town, with nearby attractions easy to explore. The hotel also had plenty of secure parking and provided bottled water and a small bar of soap. My room smelled musty, though, and noise carried badly. I could hear a group talking loudly in the corridor in the middle of the night and again early in the morning, which disturbed me a lot. Also, check that the window is locked before you settle in. Mine wasn’t secure during my stay.

The room was okay, provided it had an outside window. Bicycles fit inside easily. They only accept cash, and you might find the same price on Agoda. Getting my passport back in the morning took a little while.

It was my first time in bentong, and the place itself was nice, but the service at My House Hotel was extremely bad. The receptionist was rude and had a bad attitude. Around 11 the next morning, my fiance and I were still asleep when a staff member opened our room with a spare key without even knocking. I was really disappointed. We paid to sleep there and were treated this way. If you stay, be careful with your belongings. There are other, better hotels. Just sharing my experience, this was the worst service I’ve seen. I’d rate it 0.5 out of 10 🙏🏻

The room was clean, but voices in the corridor came through because the room wasn’t well insulated. It was a bit noisy when people were talking outside. After 11-12, once most people were asleep, it was okay.
