Chill D Resort

This is the best resort I’ve stayed at in Buriram. It’s often full and very hard to book at the last minute, so it’s best to reserve ahead.

Mosquitoes were always around, and that kept the room from getting five stars. Still, it felt like a private sanctuary, with plenty of space and all the basic amenities. It’s a newer place and is well maintained, with a private car park that fits two vehicles. The bathtub is a nice extra for somewhere this good value. There are three room types, S, M, and L: S is small, and the others follow the same sizing pattern. M rooms have a bathtub, while only two L rooms are available, each with a private pool. Check-in is convenient, almost like a drive-through, but doesn’t have the warm welcome of a lobby. I’d recommend it for a quiet escape in Buriram.

The room was basic but clean, and the bed was comfortable. There’s a fridge, kettle, tea and coffee, and the toilet is separate from the shower. On the other hand, the TV felt small for the room, there was just one chair, and the aircon and TV remotes had dead batteries. Covered parking was a bit short. The shower fittings were loose, there were no hand towels or hand soap, and there’s no breakfast facility. I couldn’t check out early because there was no maid available to check the room before returning the deposit.

We slept really well in the comfortable bed, and the spacious rooms were clean and fitted with modern amenities. Staff were friendly and check-in went smoothly. Chill D Resort is also conveniently located near attractions such as Buriram Castle. We had a delightful, relaxing stay and would highly recommend it for the service, comfort, and location.
