Mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom, plus a wet, moldy outdoor roof that's falling apart. There's construction for a large hotel just feet away, with noise and dust expected through 2028. The owners seem indifferent. Not worth the inflated rates, and it feels hazardous to your health.

I booked five pool view rooms at Nett C. resort Khao Lak in early December for January 20, but when we arrived, they had no rooms for us. The staff were unfriendly and insolent, and we were completely disappointed by how the resort staff and management behaved. Very unprofessional, I can't recommend it.

We stayed three nights and booked two rooms during high season, when the place was packed. There was a mix-up with one room, but the owner found us a second room at a lower price and refunded the difference. The hotel has recently been repainted and refreshed by new owners, so the negative reviews from years ago may no longer apply. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's right beside a lovely terraced restaurant and the local town, with everything within walking distance. Great value for money, highly recommended.

It doesn't feel very hotel-ish, but it's a comfortable place to stay. The pool was nice, and I loved that the water was warm. The host was so sweet and friendly, one of the best I've come across. He was accommodating and available by call or text whenever we needed him.
