In more than 20 years of coming to Thailand, this is the only resort we've returned to, and we've already booked again. Zofie and her team made our stay so special. Zofie is kind, attentive, and caring, always ready to help without intruding. Visa is a little gem, and the rest of the staff bring plenty of smiles too. The resort is serene and beautifully kept, a quiet little place to rest, recharge, and feel looked after. The surroundings and service make it easy to slow down and breathe. We loved breakfast at Malamar, with lots of delicious freshly cooked choices. The food and drinks there are outstanding through the day and evening. Don't miss steak night, we had a great time. This was our second visit. We loved the first stay so much that coming back was an easy decision.

I spent five nights at Wow Wild Wellness Cape Pakarang Hotel in Khao Lak and came away hoping to return. It was one of my most beautiful and relaxing stays in a long time. The retreat has only ten villas, which gives it a special atmosphere. Four face the ocean directly and have private plunge pools. The design and materials are stylish and high quality, with a calm, modern feel that fits the natural surroundings. You can see the thought and care in the details. In the evening, hundreds of LED lights illuminate the large pool beautifully. What stood out most was the quiet. There’s no entertainment programme or hustle and bustle, just nature, space, and time to relax. Zofie, the owner, is on site and personally makes sure things run smoothly. Her warmth adds a lot to the stay. It's a great fit for travellers looking for peace, design, and exclusivity. If you want entertainment, activities, or parties, this won't be the right place for you. I highly recommend it.

The setting was just what I needed. Cape Pakarang Wow Wild helped me step away from my phone and spend my time present in nature. You're on a cape, with sunrise on one side and sunset on the other, and there are palm-lined shorelines, a few local Thai restaurants, and a lot of birds to wake up to. The garden and tropical feel are lovely too. The ten-room design took ten years to make, and nature is clearly part of it. Zofie, who created and owns the place, brings a personal touch, as do all the staff. Phillips, Sugar, Sweet and Honey told us those were their names, though I'm not sure they really were, and they had fun with it. Breakfast is vegetarian, but don't let that put you off if you eat meat. My husband and I do, and we loved the breakfasts. They were delicious soul food made with fresh local ingredients, with a freshly made drink each day, sometimes with ginger and turmeric. In the evening there's Spanish Tapas, a delicious change from spicy Thai food. Yoga and creative classes run on three mornings a week. The yoga is tough but brilliant. For getting around, we rented a moped for £10 a day. It was handy for visiting the local sunset bar and surf cafe, both with good food and drinks. Other restaurants are about a 20-minute walk away. Tuk Tuks are easy to find if you don't want to rent a moped, and can take you to restaurants or the local market. If you were unsure, I hope this helps you decide. Just book, you won't regret it.
