The food is terrific, and the rooms facing the lake are great. I also liked having the choice of indoor or private outdoor showers. They accept dogs, and the place itself is terrific. I met the owner, who was as gracious and accommodating as anyone could be. This is the place to stay in Buriram.

We were passing through and had forgotten it was Moto GP weekend, so Buriram was fully booked and this was the only room left. It was okay for a shower and toilet, but the room was right by the main road and the traffic felt like it was coming straight through the room. It seemed clean, though the mattress was extremely hard, set directly on a concrete bed, and the linen was worn out and badly patched all over. The price was quite reasonable, but I chose to sleep in my Mercedes S 500e instead. It has business-class lounge seats in the back and TV entertainment. I set the air conditioning to start twice an hour and slept well for six hours. Drinks were in the cooled minibar between the seats. I didn't need to start the engine, since the hybrid battery was enough to run just the AC, so there was no pollution.

The countryside around the small lake is beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were there for the Thai Moto GP, so the location worked well for us, though it’s a little way from town. The downside of the setting is all the bugs and lizards; some will get into your room no matter what. Food was good and inexpensive.

The rooms were clean and breakfast was adequate. Friendly people run this straightforward resort, and it was a good place to stay in Buriram.
