The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, with a good bed, smart TV, and reliable internet throughout. Our air conditioner worked well, though it was a little louder than newer units. The hotel has some useful family features, including an indoor play area, kids’ pool, nearby family rooms, and a pool bar in that section. There’s also a separate sauna for women and men. The fitness room, though, is too small for serious exercise, and its air conditioning didn’t work. This is an older hotel with renovated rooms, but the prices are more like those of a new one. Staff were very kind. Some rooms have pool access, which is a nice idea, but most don’t have a beach view. Looking at the next building’s worn facade isn’t pleasant. We had trouble sliding our terrace door shut, and the wooden bathroom door closes loudly because it has no cushioning. We could also hear that sound from other rooms. In our shower, two silicone seals had mold stains, one wall still showed unrepaired water damage, and the toilet spray sometimes kept running, leaving the toilet area wet. Breakfast was below the standard we expected from an “Exclusive” hotel. There’s no quality coffee machine, just coffee and tea served in pots, and only one salt shaker and one pepper shaker for the whole room. On Sundays the buffet has a wider choice, with more Thai dishes, soups, and French toast. It seems to be aimed at the many Thai families who spend weekends there, while European tourists get less choice from Monday to Saturday. That’s disappointing and cost the hotel a star for us. The room prices are too high for what you get. We found nothing exclusive beyond the price.

Right on the beach in Cha-am, with just the road to cross. It’s a quiet, pleasant spot, with plenty of restaurants and sellers nearby. Clean place and friendly staff.

We spent a week here and really didn’t want to leave. The hotel was peaceful, and the plants and decorations made it a lovely place to unwind. Staff were wonderful, from the cleaner who kept our room looking great to the restaurant team, who were so nice. Breakfast was a good buffet every morning with Thai and Western food, and you could have either or both. Our room was spacious, as were the bathroom and shower, and the shower had strong water pressure. We also had a big balcony where we could eat and relax. The long pool was great for swimming laps and was often quiet, so I got plenty of morning swims in an empty pool. The sea is just across the road if you’d rather swim there. Nothing about the stay let us down.

A large room with a view of the beach, or a poolside room toward the back for families and couples. Some rooms are a little worn, but they’re roomy and the beds are great for a good night’s sleep. The food is very good, with plenty of choice for different tastes, and it’s cheap. A fabulous hotel and location across the road from the beach, popular with both Thais and travellers. A good place to stay in Cha am, just up the coast from Hua Hin.

We had a pleasant stay in the ground-floor room my wife booked, with private access to the pool. The decor felt cozy, the bed was comfortable, and the TV was large. The hotel also has parking, a restaurant and breakfast facilities, a sauna, and a playroom for children. It’s conveniently right by the beach in Cha-Am. It may not be the newest or flashiest place, but it worked well for us.
