Vala Hua Hin - Nu Chapter Hotels

The fruit at breakfast got repetitive, with the same pineapple, watermelon, papaya, and dragon fruit each day. Mango or passion fruit now and then would have been nice. The pool could also be warmer. With the wind on this beachfront, we often couldn’t really enjoy a swim, even when it was 29°C (84°F). Still, my husband and I loved our nine nights at Vala Hua Hin. Our Sky Beach Front room had a huge tub overlooking the sea, and housekeeping came at least twice a day. We also got complimentary drinks and snacks daily. Everything was beautiful, and I had the best facial of my life at the spa. Thanks to the whole team.

The restaurant was the one part that didn’t quite work for us. The food tasted a little bland, though the setting and design were lovely. The rest of this small luxury hotel was just right: big rooms, a long pool that’s great for swimming, and a calm feel that reminded me more of a Maldives resort than busy Cha-Am beach. It’s kid-friendly without getting too loud, so it suited parents bringing little ones along. We’d definitely come again.

We liked the place enough to come back, and they thoughtfully put us in the same room. The food was delicious, with a great breakfast selection, and there’s some kind of magical pillow spray. The lovely location made for a relaxing stay, but it was really the kind, attentive, caring staff who made it feel special. Everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

We keep choosing Vala Hua Hin for our daughter’s winter break, and it’s never let us down. The CView Pool Villa was spacious, with a comfortable bed, great bathtub, all the useful amenities, and a nice refillable MiNNiE bar. Staff are always ready to help, and breakfast is excellent. One thing to know about the CView Villa is the sea view. From our room it was just a small slice at an angle. We paid 3,000 THB to upgrade to the Ocean Beachfront View for a day, and it made a complete difference. I’d strongly recommend booking the Beachfront Pool Villa if you can. If you choose CView, rooms 12 and 14 seemed to have much better sea views. The hotel is beautiful, and the main pool is great for photos. The gym is clean and has most things you’d need for a workout. Food can be a bit pricey, as you’d expect at a five-star hotel. It’s a remarkable place, and we’ll be back.
