Puangkasem Country Resort

A good place to stay at a reasonable price.

The service was impressive on my first visit. The second time, the ladyboy-like girl served me well and tried to handle things she wasn’t good at. Still, the hotel should be better prepared when guests arrive and need to pay. Don’t leave someone waiting so long that they miss the bus.

The bedroom was clean, but the place still needed cleaning. The bungalow was separate and spacious, though both inside and out it looked old. The bathroom smelled bad, and there were cockroaches, some crawling around and some dead. The parking area and stairs to the room were very dusty. It was inexpensive, but for that level of cleanliness, I don’t think it was worth the price.

For 400 baht, it’s a good deal. You can get à la carte food and fizzy drinks here, so there’s no need to buy anything yourself during your stay. The food is tasty, too.
