Fern House Retreat

I was a little nervous about booking a whole month for our first stay, but Fern and her family made us feel welcome and helped us with everything. The rooms are spacious and come with a fridge, AC, desk, and some closet space for hanging clothes. There’s a big pool for relaxing or cooling off after a workout, and the laundry service is quick. Cats and chickens wander around to keep you company. It’s tucked down a backstreet, close to the main road but away from the noise of scooters passing at all hours. In a five-minute walk you can reach a supermarket, gyms and Muay Thai camps, restaurants, a salon, barber, massage places, and a couple of bars. The beach is a short drive or cab ride in either direction, and there’s a huge mall about 15 minutes away by car. Honestly, I couldn’t recommend it enough.

This is a lovely bungalow retreat run by a friendly family who really look after what guests need. It’s conveniently placed for the major training camps and other facilities. After a hard day of training, you can unwind by the resort pool, or just soak up the sun and tropical holiday atmosphere.

The pool area among the trees and birds was such a special spot, and I miss it already. The rooms are clean and beautifully designed, and the owners are lovely and accommodating. Fern House is right in the middle of fitness street and exceeded all my expectations. I’d definitely stay again.

This was my second stay at Fern House, and I highly recommend it if you train in the Soi. It’s tucked into a cozy, quiet corner and run by a lovely family. The place has great energy for recharging after training, whether you hang out by the pool or play with one of the 12 friendly cats. The rooms have a simple, natural design and everything you need. The laundry service is great too.
