We spent two nights here and had a lovely stay, with attentive, kind staff who went out of their way for us. It felt like a five-star experience from arrival right through to leaving. The rooms and pools aren’t completely private, more semi-private, but that was fine with us. Being surrounded by nature was beautiful, with birds and insects to listen to day and night. Breakfast was 12/10. We’ll definitely be back, and highly recommend it.

The place is gorgeous, the staff are lovely, and the food is great. Even as a vegetarian, I found enough variety at breakfast to keep me full until late afternoon. I travel a lot and have stayed in all sorts of places, but this is my favourite so far. It is a bit far from the main areas, though the stay is worth the drive. Taxis are affordable, and traffic is what makes the trips take longer than you’d hope. I’d still come back. The spa treatment and floating lunch are worth booking, and the rose milk bath felt so soothing after a day in the sun.

We booked Villa Zolitude for six nights in February, paying THB 77,520 total for a Waterfall Duplex Pool Villa. After three weeks travelling around Thailand, we wanted a peaceful place to finish the trip. The resort presents itself as a quiet, serene spa retreat, but that wasn’t what we experienced. The biggest letdown was the noise and the lack of warning before booking. Cicadas were extremely loud before sunrise and continued in cycles throughout the day, much more than the in-room notice suggested. I’m a heavy sleeper, but woke up five of the six mornings. The Chalong Festival was also happening, with loud music from around 6 PM until as late as 1 AM. We only learned about both from notes inside the villa, which felt like poor communication for a hillside resort marketed as a peaceful sanctuary. The villa looks attractive, but at over 12,000 THB per night, it didn’t meet premium expectations. The interiors felt dated and worn, insulation was poor and bugs got inside, the showers needed descaling, and there was visible dirt in corners and small areas that suggested it hadn’t had a recent deep clean. None of that was catastrophic, but details matter at this price. The property was fumigated late afternoon on our final day, understandable in a tropical climate, but it further affected our stay. Service felt more surface-level than warm. The restaurant manager was the only person who really engaged with us and remembered our names; other interactions seemed scripted. After experiencing genuine Thai hospitality elsewhere, often at cheaper hotels, this was disappointing. Staff outside management had limited English, which caused confusion, including over spa pricing: we were quoted 3,300 THB for two people, then told it was per person. There were also some intrusive and unhelpful moments. Around 5 PM, a staff member rang our villa doorbell without warning to replace a minibar item we’d used days earlier. In a private pool villa, that felt intrusive. When we asked someone to collect the floating lunch tray from our pool, we were told to call reception ourselves. For this price, service should be more proactive. The spa treatments were excellent, probably the best we had on the trip, and the therapists were professional and lovely. Other things that added to our concerns about value were a very basic early checkout breakfast box with no choice, limited free water with minibar water charged, a gym short on equipment, and a decent but not exceptional breakfast for this category. None of these problems alone would have defined the stay, but together, especially at this price, they significantly affected our experience. We’re glad we tried Villa Zolitude, but it didn’t deliver the relaxing, high-end retreat it promises. Communication, consistent service, and villa upkeep need improvement. We wouldn’t return in its current state.

I could happily call this my home away from home. It brought me so much peace, with luxurious amenities and the nicest staff. I loved the buffet, especially the espresso machine and its very good cappuccino, and the fresh fruit was always lovely. The floating breakfast was a favorite, and we ate the whole thing. Sitting outside our villa, watching and listening to the trees sway, was so relaxing. Thank you, Villa Zolitude and staff, for making our first trip to Thailand unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back.

The peaceful, romantic atmosphere made our honeymoon feel magical. We loved the spacious private villas and the smiling, kind staff. When we had trouble arranging some spa treatments and dinner, the staff were considerate and helped us have a great experience. The resort is tucked away, not very close to the major tourist spots or beaches, but that suited us. We even canceled some plans so we could just lounge around our villa and pool. The fitness center also has really nice equipment and machines. We’re definitely planning a return visit for a future anniversary. Really, we loved it so much.
