The Bell Condo Chalong Phuket

The rooms are spotless and the view is nice. Staff are really friendly, but getting anything done is a problem: it takes much longer than promised, or gets forgotten altogether. The WiFi isn't great either. If you're patient, it's a good place to stay. Otherwise, you might want to look elsewhere.

The worst part is being told lies for no reason. Miss Laddawan (bow) seems uninterested and unprofessional, and can't manage things properly. She'll send you to someone else when you're trying to book or confirm something, then blame that person. Sometimes she says she's at the hospital when she's actually at work. She's also posted a customer's bill on her public WhatsApp profile. Really poor management.

The location and price are good, but the condition of the apartment has been a problem since I arrived. The ceiling and walls were in the same state, and I had to clean them myself. Whenever it rains, water gets inside. This has been going on for about two weeks without anything changing. There's also no WiFi on the 7th floor. The manager checked the internet several times, then said she didn't know what to do. A few days after moving in, I went to the swimming pool in the morning. Three hours later I came back and realized I'd left the windows open. My wallet and credit cards were gone from my bag, though nothing else was missing. I checked the camera at the last shop where I'd bought food and saw that I returned to the apartment with the wallet. Then I checked the bell condo cameras, and the camera on the 7th floor wasn't working. I had to block my cards and was very upset. A manager said it wasn't a staff member. When I got back that evening, she brought the cleaned curtain and told me my wallet had been in security's place all day. They said I'd left it in the lobby the previous evening. She returned it with 1000 bat missing. I don't believe security could have kept it all day without telling them. They said this had never happened there and that it was my fault, but... Now they're building a new condo on the property. It's noisy, and the paint smell is polluting the air.
