TRIMM (SHA Extra Plus)

For this price, this is easily the most comfortable hotel I’ve stayed at in Chantaburi. It was clean, pleasant, and had fast Wi-Fi. There’s a cafe right next door, and the cleaning staff were always sweet. The front desk staff weren’t very friendly, though, and there’s no lift.

The room was simple, clean, and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows were too big and firm for me. Staff weren’t very friendly, and the maid made noise that woke us during the night.

We had to carry all our luggage ourselves because there’s no elevator and the hotel staff didn’t help. The service was bad. About 30 minutes later, the manager called my father about my negative review and asked why I had written it. He mentioned that his relative had graduated from the same university as me and suggested I rewrite the review. After hearing my reason, he said it wasn’t anything bad and seemed to think something worse had happened. He did apologize, but the way he spoke to me wasn’t okay. Bad manager. They also canceled our booking after we’d already paid and checked in!

We had a very bad experience at The Lounge restaurant. While we were eating at 12:30 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2019, a young male server stood by the main entrance and picked his nose with two different fingers, then looked at what he’d taken out. He rolled it between his fingers and flicked it onto the floor. Management should check the CCTV and fire this disgusting, unprofessional staff member immediately!
