The windows in our Brown House twin room looked out onto natural scenery, and we had a cozy space with a desk and chairs for working. Bamboo matting on the rooftop and a wall fan kept the room cool. We enjoyed our stay, and one of our favorite local barbecue restaurants is nearby.

Chiang Dao is a lovely place to get away from tourist crowds and enjoy nature. I really enjoyed staying at the brown hostel. The owners are incredibly welcoming and ready to help with anything. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. There weren't many guests while I was there, but everyone I met was super nice. I'd say go for it!

The owners really made this stay. They were so friendly, always smiling, and went out of their way to help. They even sorted out how my partner and I could get to pai and spoke to the company for us. Breakfast had plenty of good options, and the rooms were clean and tidy, with great facilities. It's a beautiful, relaxed area too. I'd definitely book here again.

A Tuesday morning market and a Friday market are both nearby, where mountain tribes sell fruit, vegetables, clothes, and other things. There are local restaurants close to the guesthouse, and it's also near the bus station. Brown house sits among trees beside a stream, a nice spot to sit and unwind. From the wooden room you can see Doi Luang Chiang Dao.
