The dawn views from the 'balcony' were unforgettable: misty sunlight over the forest and mountains, distant monks chanting, and birds singing all around. Sunset was special too, and the stars and planets at night were fantastic. We loved the gardens, full of orchids and other flowers, and could feel how much care had gone into making this rustic hotel close to nature. There are different huts, and ours was small but comfortable and just right for us. Malee was such a warm host. Her homemade bread, pancakes, jams, and breakfasts were superb, and she gave me a little gift when we left. She also invited a group of us to dinner at a restaurant in town overlooking a rice paddi field. Her husband knows the area well, led nature hikes, and mapped many of the local walks himself. I’d stay again in a heartbeat, and even shed a tear saying goodbye to the hotel and Malee.

A quiet getaway with hot showers and a really welcoming family. Malee keeps everything running smoothly and is an absolute delight, with a great attitude and a good sense of humor. She and her son Peter served us an excellent breakfast, and we were able to relax in complete peace. Even the dogs were sweet and followed us around. My family and I had a wonderful time here, and I highly recommend it.

Such a lovely hidden spot, run by a great family. The mountain views are beautiful, and spending time on the sun desk doing yoga or just meditating was a real pleasure. I loved feeling connected to nature here. One of the best bungalows I’ve stayed in, especially if you’re after a natural setting.

I stayed with Malee and her family for four days, and they were so warm and welcoming. As a solo traveler, I felt they really took me in. They even brought me along to get hot pot with them. Malee is kind, attentive, and always ready to help. It’s been weeks since I stayed, and I still feel warm thinking about it. The breakfast was delicious, especially Malee's homemade bread, which I still dream about. Just keep in mind that a bungalow in the jungle comes with lizards and bugs. The hosts’ friendliness made up for those creepy crawlers at night. Thanks, Malee, Kurt, & Peter! I’d love to come back someday.

Malee was so kind and ready to help. It’s a family-run place, and my bungalow was roomy with a really comfortable bed.
