The rainy-season atmosphere was so calm and relaxing, with birds singing all day. The room felt cozy and peaceful, and there was a super cute cat named On. The owner was incredibly kind, like a relative, and we even called her “Mom.” If you want a laid-back, homey stay, I highly recommend it. It’s perfect if you’re looking to heal your heart and body or find fresh inspiration 🫶🏼✨🍃

Be careful, this is a homestay, literally! From the moment you arrive, it feels like home. I met the host and came to love her like a dear mother. For the rest of my life, whenever I want, I can close my eyes and picture myself sitting on the porch, listening to the Chiang Dao insects and evening rain. My soul has found a home and a family at this magical homestay. Love you, ma!

We got here around 7 pm and were warmly welcomed by the host, who served us local fruit. Nokkamin home also sells snacks and instant noodles, which were just right for settling our stomachs. We liked being surrounded by greenery.

The bathroom was one of the nicest we’ve had at the places we stayed, though the water pressure could have been stronger. The accommodation was lovely, and they refreshed our room every day, which was nice, although there wasn’t a way to ask them not to. The kitchen facilities were great, with a hot water boiler and microwave, and they provided free toast, jam, fruit, coffee, Milo, tea, and more.

The shower was the one small drawback: turn the water pressure up and it gets cold. Otherwise, we had a great stay at Nokkamin home. The owners were lovely and very helpful, and they left out free water, toast, and coffee for breakfast. The place is peaceful and relaxed.
