The location is excellent, close to walking street, 7-11, Lotus and an ATM, and you can borrow a bicycle for free. But rooms seem to vary a lot. The best one has a great river view and is clean, while the intermediate room faces the road and is pretty good. I got the worst one: very small, no view except a neighbor's roof, and there were insects and a mosquito. The bed was a bit stiff, the air conditioner wasn't very clean, there was no hair dryer, and the toilet smelled a bit at night. The rest was okay.

The location is hard to beat, right in the middle of the walking street and night market. It's a five-minute walk to one of the city's two 7/11s and just a minute from the province's most famous restaurant. This is a small homestay with three rooms. I'd choose the river-facing one, since the Mekong view from the balcony is wonderful at both sunrise and sunset. The balcony room facing Main Street is nice too, but the river view wins. They also offer laundry at very reasonable prices. A wonderful place to stay in Chiang Khan.

We had the room facing the pedestrian street. It was clean, the atmosphere was lovely, and the owner was polite and gave excellent service. I was very happy with the stay and recommend booking if you're considering it. Updated 14/06/2026. I just wish I'd taken photos of the accommodation to include with this review.

The Mekong-side room had an unbelievable view, 10000% amazing. Service was great and the rooms were clean, with excellent value for the price. I'd highly recommend booking one by the river.

You're right in the middle of the pedestrian street, with river views. Just expect prices to be a bit higher on weekends.
