It was easy to explore Chiang Khan from Wella & Natee. The guesthouse is only a short walk from both Walking Street and the Mekong River, so I didn't need transport. There are just seven rooms, which gives the place a quiet, intimate feel, and everything looked well cared for. My room was simple and modest, but clean, with air conditioning, a kettle, and complimentary water. The bathroom was functional and tidy, with a shower and hairdryer. Guests can also use the free bicycles to ride along the river, and there's Wi-Fi throughout. The staff were helpful and made me feel welcome.

We stayed from December 28-30, 1968, and found the accommodation friendly and handy for getting around on foot. Since we didn't have our own car, we took a tuk-tuk (Skylab). Our driver was lovely, gave great service, and suggested some good places to visit.

The location made things easy, with the walking street, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. The rooms were clean, quiet, and good value, and the Wi-Fi was strong. We could borrow bicycles too. The owner and housekeeper were friendly, and we had a pleasant stay.

We had a roomy two-bed room with two air conditioners, though one was enough to cool the whole space. The bathroom was large and had strong water pressure. Everything was clean, including the blankets and nice-smelling towels. Nothing to complain about, and I'd happily stay again if I get the chance. I forgot to take photos!
