The setting and rooms had an almost cabin-in-the-woods feel, even though this is a unique motel-style hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly and lovely to deal with. The location worked well, though the town is small enough that it’s hard to go wrong wherever you stay. I’m taking off a star because my room had no safe or AC. Luckily, there was a fan.

The beds are comfortable, and the place feels safe. Nights get cool enough that a fan room is fine for sleeping, and it’s cheap. The wooden rooms do get hot during the day, but the pool is in good shape and the garden is a pleasant place to hang out. There’s a 7-11 just across the street, about two minutes away, and restaurants are a five to ten minute walk. The hotel sells beer and has a machine for hot and cold water.

Beautiful, clean place, but it’s very noisy. You can hear people talking from far away. Please don’t start cleaning the rooms while people are asleep. You woke me at 7:30. How is that good service? I pay to sleep, so if you’re not sleeping, why should I pay? Start after 10, like everywhere else.

The pool area was lovely, and the wooden style gave the hotel a nice feel. It was quiet during our stay, and the staff were friendly. Very clean, and amazing for the price. I’d highly recommend it if you’re in the area.

The pool was great, though very cold, which I love, and we could borrow bicycles for free. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful with everything we needed. We had a wonderful three days. The only downside was how much you could hear from the neighbors, but earplugs solved that for us.
