The room smelled strongly of bleach, and I found hair, dust, and dirty spots on the towels and bedsheets and easily inside the bed. The place didn’t look like the pictures shown by hotel-paid bloggers, which made it seem pretty and pleasant. It’s next to a bar, with noise until 3-4 am, and I could barely sleep. I could also hear guests talking in their rooms and walking past my door in the corridor, so it was hard to rest. There’s no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage on the stairs. It felt like a hostel, or worse. I had a lot to be disappointed about. I wouldn’t trust the positive comments either, since I suspect the writers were paid bloggers or friends of the owner who hadn’t actually stayed here.

The place seems fairly newly built, with comfortable beds on a faux loft and a really nice bathroom. The only downside for an older person is that there’s no elevator. Staff were very attentive and friendly. When our Uber driver couldn’t find the place at checkout, the woman at the desk arranged a tuk-tuk to the airport.

The location is convenient, but I didn't find anything special about this place. The Wi-Fi was very weak, the bathroom drain was awful, and the air conditioner was broken. We called the emergency number, but couldn't get help in the middle of the night. Music from the bar outside also kept bothering us until midnight.

The internet was so poor that uploading videos to YouTube for backup was painfully slow, and even simple browsing was a problem. We also noticed a durian smell late at night. The hotel is in Hewkew district of Chaingmai, which is handy for seeing the city and heading up to Doi Sutept.
