Art Mai Gallery Nimman Hotel

We’ll come back. The area is superb, just behind One Nimman, and the staff were great. The room was fab, breakfast was good, and the serving staff were so enthusiastic and helpful. It’s a stylish, cozy place where art and accommodation come together, and it gave us a great experience in Chiang Mai.

We ended up booking Art Mai Gallery Hotel at the last minute after a bad Airbnb experience, and the stay was great from start to finish. The staff deserve a shout-out, they couldn’t do enough for us. The young woman at the desk when we arrived close to midnight was so welcoming and helpful. The rooftop pool was clean, cool, and a good size. Having cocktails there at the end of the day was lovely. We ate at the restaurant once and really liked it, the food was tasty and the house wine went down easily. Our room was big, with a huge bathroom, and faced over the city toward the airport. We could see and hear planes taking off, but they didn’t bother us. If you’re sensitive to that noise, it might, though the planes weren’t flying very early or late. The area is central, with lots of coffee and food options, and close to the night markets on Nimman Road and Maya Mall. Highly recommend!

A small detail made a big impression: we usually book for three because we travel with our little one, and this was the only hotel to put out three towels automatically. The whole team was thoughtful and attentive, and everyone was polite and welcoming. Prim and Mr. TK (Supervisor) went especially far to make us comfortable. The location in Nimman is excellent, just steps from One Nimman and an easy walk to Maya Shopping Mall, with cafes, shops, and massage places all around. We had a lovely stay and hope to return.

We spent three nights in Chaing Mai. The neighborhood is quiet and a bit gentrified, and getting a cheap Grab ride to anywhere in the city was easy. Breakfast was very good, with an egg station and lots of Thai and western choices. There’s a nice 7/11 around the block. Staff were helpful, and there’s a nice little pool on the top floor.
